For many people they associate making changes in their life to feeling pain. This is why they resist it, even when part of them knows that on the other-side of change they will be better off. This is evident in people who say they want to quit a bad habit, but find it hard to get the job done.
Don’t get me wrong, there are times when change is stressful and painful, especially when bad things happen to us or people we love. But the change I’m talking about here are the changes we want and need to make in order for us to be happier, healthier and more fulfilled in our lives.

In the video below I’m going to share with you some of the fastest and easiest ways to change any area of your life for the better – be it at home, work, a relationship, or even a habit you’d like to drop. There is a reason why so many people find it hard to make changes and that reason has to do with out emotions.
Whether we know it or not, once we develop a habitual way of thinking or behaving, we create emotional attachments to them. These attachments then become beliefs about how easy or hard it is to make a change in our life.
Whether it’s to change our diet, quit smoking, stop gambling, give-up cursing, lose weight, or whatever it is we want to change about ourselves, if our sub-conscious belief about making the change is linked to pain, then it’s going to be pretty dang hard to make it happen.
Logically, it makes sense to us and it seems easy when we think about it. But when we go to take action on a constant basis, something seems to keep pulling us back to the same place we were before – even though we consciously know it’s not what we want.
That ‘something’ that pulls us back is our emotional attachments to what the thoughts and habits that we have conditioned ourselves to be comfortable with. To break free from the old habits, we must first break our emotional attachments to them, and in their place, create new and empowering emotions to support change.
Real change can only ever happen when we are ready to endure some pain. We’d all like to think that change is fun and easy to do, and for some people this is true. For most people though, making changes in their personal or business life are more likely to be associated with fear as it means letting go of what they feel safe and comfortable with.

Change is not meant to be hard work, that’s just a belief that many of us cling to based on our past. For some, change is a way of life and they thrive when the opportunity presents itself. As long as one person can find the joy in change, then it is possible for anyone to do it.
